The
Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau has warned car owners that their obligatory
motor insurance contracts will shortly expire and that they must conclude new
ones.
The press service of the Bureau reports that those who
will fail to do it will have to pay 100,000 AMD fine.
According to the law, for each 10 days of not having a
new contract a car owner should pay 5,000 AMD but no more than 100,000 AMD for
a year.
Obligatory motor insurance was introduced in Armenia
on Jan 1 2011.
