Серж Саргсян: Армения желает восстановления прямого ж/д сообщения между Грузией и Россией через территорию Абхазии

 Армения желает восстановления прямого железнодорожного сообщения между
Грузией и Россией через территорию Абхазии, но "серьезного разговора"
на эту тему пока не ведется. Как сообщает Новости-Грузия об этом заявил
президент Армении Серж Саргсян в интервью грузинской телекомпании
"Рустави- 2".


"Серьезного разговора на эту тему
пока нет. Но мы хотим, чтобы эта дорога начала свое функционирование. Для нас
это имеет жизненное значение", - заявил Серж Саргсян, находящийся с
официальным визитом в Тбилиси.


При этом он добавил, что "открытие
железной дороги зависит не только от Армении и России, но и от других сторон,
поэтому мы активно работаем по этому вопросу".


Накануне госминистр по вопросам примирения
и гражданского равноправия Грузии Паата Закареишвили также комментируя
заявление  главы РЖД Владимира Якунина, о
том, что настало время "сосредоточиться на вопросе об открытии ж/д
сообщения через Абхазию и Грузию в Армению", отметил, что вопрос открытия
железнодорожного сообщения через Абхазию пока не находится в стадии конкретного
обсуждения, хотя в обозримом будущем он может стать предметом рассмотрения
между Грузией и Россией на уровне официальных представителей, в частности
спецпредставителя премьер-министра Грузии по урегулированию отношений с РФ
Зураба Абашидзе и замминистра иностранных дел РФ Григория Карасина.



Согласно исследованиям британской
неправительственной организации International Alert, реконструкция
бездействующей с 1991 года Абхазской железной дороги по маршруту
Сочи-Сухуми-Тбилиси-Ереван обойдется в $ 277,5 млн, которые удастся окупить не
ранее чем через 100 лет. $251 млн требуется на восстановление 190-километрового
абхазского участка Псоу-Ингури, меж тем как от Ингури до Зугдиди, затраты
составят всего $26,5 долларов. От Зугдиди же до Тбилиси и далее до Еревана
дорога работает и в ремонте не нуждается. Примечательно, что по официальным
выводам абхазских экспертов эта сумма составляет $350-400 млн, меж тем как их
грузинские коллеги считают, что на это потребуется не более $73 млн
