The European Heritage Days have already formed tradition in Armenia celebrating every year all over the country, which coordination is undertaken by Ministry of Culture of RA and South Caucasus Railway. This year it will be held on 27-28 September with the theme "Looking back 100 years after" and all the events which will be organized are dedicated to World War I 100th anniversary.

Ahead of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey, the Czech Parliament will host a photo and video exposition telling about that crime against humanity. All the exhibits and materials will be delivered from the Armenian Genocide Museum- Institute.  Vojtech Filip, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Parliament made such statement at a meeting with Armenian Parliament Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.  The Armenian official is in the Czech Republic these days. 

Three non-coalition forces of the Armenian Parliament - Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia and Heritage - held a joint rally in Hrazdan on Friday.    

On 26 September , Armenia's parliamentary commission for foreign relations delayed the discussion of the draft decision on recognition of the NKR by Armenia. The draft was initiated by a member of the parliament  from the Heritage party, Zaruhi Postanjan.

Today we a giving start to a velvet revolution in Armenia, MP from Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan said during the rally organized by the parliamentary opposition (ANC, Prosperous Armenia and Heritage) in Abovyan on Thursday.

 The Hovik Abrahamyan Government is falling short of expectations, former Foreign Minister of Armenia, MP from Prosperous Armenia Party Vartan Oskanian said during an opposition rally in Abovyan on Thursday.
According to Oskanian, the current regime has made no headway in the last seven years. All they have done is create political and economic monopolies and all they wish is to reproduce themselves.

Beeline goes on implementing digitizing of automatic telephone exchanges and subscriber lines of telephone communications in the regions of Armenia. In particular, the work on upgrading of the fixed telephone net has launched in Maralik town of Shirak region of Armenia. 

An Armenian citizen that was in Azerbaijani captivity has been repatriated.

 Surik Khachatyan's reappointment as Syunik Governor is inadmissible, Vice Chairman of Herit6age Party Armen Martirosyan told ArmInfo.

"Surik Khachatryan's reappointment as Syunik Governor was a loud slap in the face of Armenia and the Armenian people," Naira Zohrabyan, secretary of the parliamentary faction of the Prosperous Armenian Party, told ArmInfo. 

Serzh Sargsyan could not but appoint 'a man like him' to the post of the Syunik Governor, Aram Manukyan, a parliamentarian from the oppositional Armenian National Congress, told ArmInfo when commenting on Suyrik Khachatryan's return to the above post.

Andrew Bennett, Canada's Ambassador for Religious Freedom, today issued the following statement:  "Canada deplores ISIL's destruction of the Armenian Holy Martyrs church in Dayr az- Za, Syria, and the adjacent Museum of the Holy Martyrs, a memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide that housed the remains of many of those killed in 1915.  

The Armenian government needs replacement. I think that the government which can again appoint Surik Khachatryan the governor of Syunik region should not rule the country, Emil Budaghyan, Avetik Budaghyan's father killed in the night from 1 to 2 June, said when commenting on  Surik Khachatryan's appointment as a governor of Syunik once again. 

 "We conduct this meeting in a symbolically significant period between the centennial of World War I and the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the two turning points in the history of humanity. The United Nations Organization was established almost seventy years ago at the end of World War II, and its mission was to form new civilizational environment and culture of preventing the repetition of the past tragic pages," President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at the 69th session of the UN General Assembly, on 24 September. 

 "It has been more than twenty years our neighbor aborts the efforts of the international community directed at the just and peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by its unconstructive and maximalist stance," President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at the 69th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

 The joint rally of Prosperous Armenia, Heritage and Armenian National Congress will not result in any changes in the country, Director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan told journalists on Wednesday.
